| Dear Oscar, Happy end of summer! I hope it was a beautiful one for you. Here’s a bit of the mischief I’ve been up to… I’m thrilled to have recorded a unique reprise of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band for The Beatles Complete on Ukelele. Click here to listen… and be sure to read the story behind its creation! I also made my storytelling debut at The Moth. In August, I was proud to perform at Broadway in the Berkshires, a benefit for Shakespeare & Co.’s Education and Training Program, which teaches Shakespeare to youth-in-prison. Chip Zien was our host.
On September 12, I appear in the workshop of a new play, March Madness, opposite Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker. On September 23, “Groucho” performs at the record release of Roma‘s The Wild Party. I helped direct this band and make a cameo on the alhum! And, on September 29, I’m pleased to kick pirate booty in the third (and final) workshop of Treasure Island: The Musical, which promises to have a full-blown production very soon!
